The Void, is a new Philadelphia based holistic creatives collective working to empower emerging, ambitious, and unheard artists. Tired of working in product based environments, we dissent from the traditional hierarchical structure of theatre making and lead with empathy, integrity, and investigative spirit in the pursuit of radical thought and innovation. Through artistic collaboration, we strive to build a community of independent thinkers who are actively envisioning and working toward making the work we want to see, in order to fill the void.

Informed & Entertained
Informed and Entertained is a virtual cabaret series told in the style of a living newspaper. The Void’s lead artists, working with burgeoning, young playwrights from across the country, present five original scenes that are inspired by a specific news article or current event. Each scene was devised in tandem with the playwrights, Void lead artists, and a wonderful cast of young actors from across the country. What can be more current than today’s headlines?
In addition to producing as co-founder of The Void, Brittney takes on roles such as director, dramaturg, and script editor in this series.
Villager
Villager was The Void’s inaugural project, presented as part of the 2020 Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
