The Play

Richie is bored with eternity. For the head demon in Hell's HR department, the afterlife's nihilistic playground has lost its luster. No amount of sadism or indulgence will cure what ails him. How does a self-respecting middle manager gracefully navigate his immortality crisis?

My Work

My research for Acedia ranged from Norse mythology, to the structure of American capitalism, and it somehow all fit together into a 12 foot “map of hell” that I created as a reference for the cast. In addition to research, I worked very closely with the writer and director, as the play was undergoing rewrites during our process.
